Boat vs. shore

On the shore, you are kind-of disabled to the rest of the lake or river. Although on the shore you can relax more because you don't have to worry about where the boat is and the navigation. You can just kick back and wait for a fish to hit. On the other hand, on a boat there is more area to fish, all around the boat, whether you drop the bait or get a far-off cast, there's still a lot of room. Although there's the navigation problem, lots of people have depth/fish finders. Some people don't like all of the depth finders and new rods and reels, and that's perfectly fine.
